Special transfer between Credit Suisse and UBS
Background
If a company had both a UBS account and a Credit Suisse account in bexio prior to the transfer, there will be two contract numbers at UBS after the transfer. One contract number originates from the original UBS banking relationship, while the other was created when the Credit Suisse account was transferred to UBS.
What does this mean for you?
In bexio, only one contract number per company can be connected via the interface using bLink. This means that you can select your preferred UBS account as your main account ideally the one you use for most business transactions. This main account can be connected directly to bexio via bLink. The second UBS account can still be used, but the data must be imported into bexio manually.
Recommendation
We recommend that you select the account through which most of your business transactions are conducted as your primary account.
Choose Your Main UBS Contract number
Connect the contract you use most to Bexio for automatic transaction imports and payment submissions. If you want your new UBS contract as the main one, you will need to set up a new connection in Bexio. Find out how to connect your contract here.
For the Second UBS Contract number
Use Bexio’s manual upload feature. You can upload up to 30 transaction files (CAMT formats or ZIP) at once. You can find out how to import manually here.
Additional special case
Special case A: You already have a UBS account in addition to your Credit Suisse account
Special case B (new): You manage different companies in separate bexio accounts
Background / What does this mean for you? - Pretty much the same as above.
Recommendation
We therefore recommend that two people, each with their own UBS Digital Banking contract and the necessary access permissions, carry out the registration.
Example: Hans Müller connects the accounts of Company A in Company A's bexio account using his Digital Banking contract. For Company B, Fritz Meier takes over the connection using his own Digital Banking contract in Company B's bexio account.
