2FA is like a second lock on your front door. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the second key (the security code from your email).

How login works from now on:
The process is simple and significantly enhances your security:

Login: Enter your email address and password as usual.
Code request: Our system detects your login attempt and automatically sends a 6-digit security code to your registered email address.
Code entry: Enter this code in the login window and click the login button.
Confirmation: Done! You are securely logged in.

Security Notice: It is imperative to use a strong and different password for your email account that receives the 2FA codes than the one you already use for your bexio account. Ideally, your email account should also be secured by a form of 2FA (e.g., Google or Microsoft Authenticator app) to prevent takeover by criminals.
