When changing a contract, e.g., from hourly to monthly pay or vice versa, or when increasing wages, it is not necessary to record the employee's departure. A departure is only recorded when the employee actually leaves the company.

In this case, you can simply click on the employee under “Employment” for the relevant month and then make the appropriate adjustment. For example, remove the monthly wage and switch to hourly wage. In this case, the employment contract would of course also have to be adjusted.

When giving a pay raise, go to the employee under “Employment” and adjust the amount accordingly.

If there is an increase in working hours during the month, go to the employee under “Employment.” Here, click on the + in the upper right corner of the timeline and enter the date from which the working hours will be increased. You can then save this, and bexio will calculate the amounts directly in the payroll.
IMPORTANT: Under “Company” “Master data” “Miscellaneous,” the check mark under “Proportional payroll accounting” “Calculate salary on a daily basis” must be set.

For a wage increase during the month, go to the employee under “Employment.” Here, click on the + in the upper right corner of the timeline and enter the date from which the wage will be increased. You can then save this, and bexio will calculate the amounts directly in the payroll.
IMPORTANT: Under “Company” “Master data” “Miscellaneous,” the check mark under “Proportional payroll accounting” “Calculate salary on a daily basis” must be set.

All other changes relating to the employee, such as change of address or new IBAN, can only be made in an open month. No adjustments can be made to payroll accounting that has already been completed.
