Create an invoice from a quote
To create an invoice, your quote must have the status “Confirmed”. If this is not the case, the button to create an invoice will not appear.
- Open the desired quote (make sure it is set to the status Confirmed)
- In the right sidebar, click on “Create invoice”.
- A pop-up window will open: select the positions (items or services) you want to transfer to the invoice.
- Click on “Save”. Your invoice is now created.
Just like a standard invoice generated from an order, the quote is automatically linked as a "preceding document". You will find this direct tab in the document flow of both the quote and the invoice.
Link quotes and invoices to projects
To ensure accurate tracking of your activities, you can associate your documents with your ongoing projects:
Another option: Assign during document creation
Another method is to assign the document to the project directly at the moment you create it:
- When you click on "Create a quote" (or an invoice), a pop-up window opens.
- In the available fields, you will see options for: Contact, Date, Project.
- Select the desired project in the corresponding field to assign the document to it.
Please make sure that the project has already been created in the system beforehand so that it appears in the search results.
