In bexio, you can define how recorded times and expenses for your services should be rounded. This ensures consistent and transparent billing for your customers.

1. Navigation to settings

You manage the central rounding settings for your services in the following menu area:

"Settings" → "All Settings" → "My Company" → "Basic Settings"

Scroll down this page to the "Services" section.

2. Available rounding types

Under the heading "Services", you have four options for handling time rounding:

• No rounding: Recorded times are taken over precisely to the minute.

• Normal rounding: Times are rounded commercially up or down to the next defined interval step, depending on the minutes achieved.

• Round up: Each started time unit is automatically rounded up to the next defined interval.

• Round down: Started time units are always rounded down to the previous interval.

3. Standard rounding factors

In addition to the rounding type, you determine the standard rounding factor, which specifies the time interval of the rounding steps. The following factors are available:

• 5 Minutes

• 10 Minutes

• 15 Minutes

• 30 Minutes

• 1 Hour
