In bexio, you can structure and track project progress using predefined main statuses and flexibly adjustable substatuseS. These substatuseS can be created, edited, or deleted at any time according to your needs via Settings → All Settings → Master Data → Projects: Substatus.
In bexio, you have the option to organize your projects clearly and accurately track their current progress using project statuses and substatuses.
1. Difference between Project Status and Substatus
Project Status (Predefined)
The main status indicates the fundamental phase of a project. The project status is system-defined and offers three options:
Substatus (Individually Adaptable)
With the substatus, you can assign a more precise phase to your projects (e.g., Quotation Phase, Documentation, or Final Phase).
Unlike the fixed main project status, you have full flexibility with the substatus: you can adjust, delete, or create new substatuses.
2. Navigation in bexio
You can find the overview and management of all substatuses in the settings under:
"Settings" "All Settings" "Master Data" "Projects: Substatus"
3. Create New Substatus
You can add new substatuses at any time to optimally reflect your internal processes:
- Navigate to "Settings" "All Settings" "Master Data" "Projects: Substatus".
- Click the button "Create New Substatus".
- Enter the desired name and save the entry.
4. Adjust or Delete Substatus
You can adjust or remove substatuses that are no longer needed directly in the overview:
-
- Open the overview under "Projects: Substatus".
- Select the desired substatus.
- Click on the option to Edit or Delete.
